Mechanical Production Technician

Well known for product quality, the business is renowned for their high precision equipment and they have a global customer base. The products are complex, made up of multiple sub-assemblies, so you won’t be doing the same task day-in and day-out, keep it varied and interesting.

The Assembly Technician will be part of a small team of skilled people. You will be responsible for the following:

Building assemblies, sub-assemblies and complete systems to engineering drawings.
Operating in a low-volume, high-value environment
Mechanical assembly of frames, and cabinets as well as some more intricate assembly work.
Pre-testing some assemblies before sending complete products through to the test department.

The Candidate: Mechanical Production Technician

The successful candidate will consider themselves to have experience in an assembly environment, and will also:

Have experience with mechanical equipment build.
Good mechanical assembly experience, from intricate work up to large-scale frame build.
Be organised and disciplined, ensuring no shortcuts are taken to ensure product quality.
