Have you been looking for that next step up, where you can deliver advanced electromechanical products used for research worldwide? You’ll have full accountability for Engineering and NPD, and your goal is to get new products to market and achieve project deadlines.
You’ll be joining a company of less than 50 people, with a global presence and excellent reputation in the market. So, your team will be a manageable size, there isn’t so many people that you’ll forget everyone’s name, and most importantly you will be able to make a huge impact as part of the leadership team.
With this also comes the opportunity to progress to Engineering Director. With an exciting roadmap to deliver over the next few years, get this underway and show your capability, and this will be a clear next step for you. But achieving deadlines is critical to this. You will have been in a role where you’ve overseen the entire development lifecycle and have achieved deadlines. We need someone who can strategise and create the plans, not just run with an existing plan. You will be proactive and take action to reduce possible risks before they happen.
But where do the ideas come from? Like any business, there are many avenues, but the main driver will be customers. You’ll be able to meet with customers, understand what’s needed in their labs, and develop those ideas for new NPD projects.
