At the forefront of their industry, the business continuously develops complex products, made up of multiple sub-assemblies. Operating in a low-volume, high-complexity environment where it will typically take 2-3 weeks to build 1 full system, keeping your days varied and interesting.

The Wiring Technician will be part of a small team of skilled production technicians. You will be responsible for the following:

Building assemblies, sub-assemblies and complete systems to engineering drawings.
Electrical wiring on control boxes and racking systems.
Mechanical assembly of frames, and cabinets as well as some more intricate assembly work.
Pre-testing some assemblies before sending complete products through to the test department.

The Candidate: Electro-mechanical Production Technician

The successful candidate will consider themselves to have experience in an electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment, and will also:

Have experience with electro-mechanical equipment build.
Experience with wiring looms and wiring control units.
Good mechanical assembly experience, from intricate work up to large-scale frame build.
Be organised and disciplined, ensuring no shortcuts are taken to ensure product quality.
